Dental Implant
A dental implant is an artificial standby for a tooth root, usually made from titanium. There are many different implant systems present and when knowledgeably used they all bring a highly reliable form of action. The main goal during the situation of any implant is to achieve immediate close contact with the surrounding bone. Then further growth of bone onto the implant surface improves the stability of the implant. Dental implants are the best treatment for missing teeth when you use an experienced implant dentist.


                                                                                         

Are implants harmless?
Implants are a safe and a well-recognized treatment. It's perhaps correct to say that implants, are like natural teeth, and will last for long as, you care for them.
How well you take care of your implants - and whether you go for your regular check-ups, will have the biggest impact on how long they will last.
If you don't take care of your implants they will develop a coating, like you get on neglecting your natural teeth. When it is left untreated, it can lead to gum infection, bleeding, soreness and general uneasiness. You could get all these problems with natural teeth.

If your implants are well looked after, and the bone with which they are fitted to is strong and healthy, you can expect them to last for many years
